T-Mobile Park is home to the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. The Mariners play all their regular season home games there, along with any postseason games they qualify for. The stadium opened in 1999 and was originally known as Safeco Field. It was built specifically for baseball, so the sightlines are great from almost every seat. The park has also hosted special events like the MLB All-Star Game. College baseball and occasional non-baseball events take place there too. Baseball is the main focus, especially during the MLB season.
