Getting to Citizens Bank Park via public transportation is pretty simple and often easier than dealing with traffic on game day. SEPTA’s Broad Street Line subway runs right down to the Sports Complex area, and the NRG Station is only about a seven-minute walk from the stadium. During busy games, SEPTA even runs special Sports Express trains to move fans faster from Center City and beyond. You can connect from other transit lines like Regional Rail, Market-Frankford Line, and buses to make the trip if you’re coming from outside Philly. Taking the subway means you don’t have to worry about parking or traffic, and you can usually hop back on a train right after the game ends. Rideshare drop-offs are also available nearby if you’re pairing transit with a quick ride at the start or end of your trip. No matter how you choose to get there, planning ahead with transit schedules makes the day less stressful.
