Which famous bridges cross the East River?

The East River is crossed by several iconic bridges that connect NYC boroughs in important ways. The Queensboro Bridge links Manhattan and Queens and offers lanes for cars, pedestrians, and bikes. The Williamsburg Bridge also connects Manhattan with Brooklyn and carries trains, vehicles, and foot traffic. Other river bridges include the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge, which are famous around the world. There are also smaller spans and pedestrian crossings as part of parks and waterfront paths. Each bridge has its own history and design, and many are landmarks in their own right. These crossings make daily commuting and sightseeing in NYC way more interesting.
