PNC Park sits right on Pittsburgh’s North Shore and is easy to access by car, transit, or even on foot if you’re nearby. If you’re driving, there are official lots and garages around the ballpark that you can reserve in advance online or through apps, but they fill up fast on big game days. A lot of fans park downtown or in other garages and take the free “T” light rail to North Side Station — it’s a short ride and drops you right by the park without the headache of stadium traffic. Walking over the Roberto Clemente Bridge from downtown is also super popular and gives you awesome views of the city. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft can drop you off at designated spots near the main parking areas too. Whatever way you choose, give yourself extra time before first pitch since crowds and traffic are part of gameday. You’ll also find that exploring Pittsburgh’s riverfront area before or after the game makes the trip even better.
