Gillette Stadium is a big outdoor sports and entertainment venue in Foxborough, Massachusetts, about 22 miles southwest of Boston, and it’s best known as the home of the NFL’s New England Patriots and MLS’s New England Revolution. It opened in 2002 and replaced the older Foxboro Stadium that the Pats used before. The Kraft Group owns and operates the stadium, and it also houses training and administrative facilities for the teams that play there. The stadium has a seating capacity of around 64,628 for football games and has hosted tons of playoff games and concerts over the years. Nearby you’ll find Patriot Place, a large entertainment and shopping area with restaurants, shops, and attractions that many fans visit before or after events. Whether you’re there for a Patriots game, a Revolution match, or a big music event, the vibe is always buzzing. Gillette Stadium has become an iconic sports landmark in New England.
