The Buffalo Bills are building a brand‑new Highmark Stadium across the street from the old one, and it’s set to open in summer 2026 for the NFL season. This new stadium will seat about 67,000 fans and has a modern design with lots of upgrades from the old venue. It’ll keep the outdoor feel Bills fans love but with some new features to make it more comfortable, like better coverage over seats and improved amenities. Once the new stadium opens, the current Highmark Stadium will be closed and eventually torn down. The new turf will be natural grass with a heating system under it so games can go on even in snowy weather. Keeping the same name keeps things familiar for fans who’ve loved the old stadium for years. It’s a big move for the franchise and something Bills fans are super hyped about.
