How do parking and transportation work for Mercedes-Benz Stadium?

Getting to Mercedes-Benz Stadium is easier when you plan ahead since downtown Atlanta can get pretty busy before big games and concerts. There are multiple paid parking lots and garages around the stadium, but these fill up fast on Falcons and major event days, so buying a parking pass ahead of time is smart if you’re driving. The stadium complex is also served by MARTA trains and buses, and the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center rail station is a short walk away, which many fans use to avoid traffic and parking stress. Rideshare pickup and drop-off zones are designated nearby, though they can get crowded after events so patience is key. Tailgating isn’t usually allowed on stadium property, so most of the pre-game action happens in nearby lots or around fan zones. Walking from nearby hotels or attractions is another popular choice, especially when you’re already in the downtown area. Whatever way you choose, giving yourself extra time before kickoff or showtime makes the arrival much smoother.
