Parking around Bank of America Stadium takes some planning, especially on Panthers game days when tens of thousands of fans flood uptown Charlotte. There are a bunch of official paid lots right near the stadium, but these spots can sell out early so buying a parking pass ahead of time is usually smart. Lots typically open several hours before kickoff or big events, and tailgating is allowed in many of them so fans can hang out before the action starts. If you’d rather skip the driving stress, Charlotte’s light rail and bus systems stop close by and are popular ways to get there with less fuss. Rideshare drop-off and pickup zones are also designated and can save you from circling for a spot. Walking from nearby hotels or uptown parking is another common choice if you’re already in town. Just give yourself extra time before kickoff or showtime because traffic around the stadium gets pretty heavy.
