What are the parking and transportation options for Lumen Field?

Getting to Lumen Field means planning ahead since it sits right in downtown Seattle near I‑5 and I‑90, and game day traffic can get pretty wild if you wait till the last minute. There are two main on‑site parking areas — the Lumen Field Parking Garage on the south side and the North Lot — but most of those spots are already presold to season ticket holders. You can sometimes park in nearby lots like the Union Station Garage or the Mariners/T‑Mobile Park garage, but those fill up fast and prices go up on event days. A much easier way to get there is public transit — Seattle’s Link Light Rail stops close by, the Sounder train drops you at King Street Station a short walk away, and tons of buses run near the stadium. Rideshares like Uber or Lyft can drop you off right near the entrance too, though it’ll still be a bit crowded. Tailgating isn’t allowed in the stadium lots so most fans head to downtown bars or nearby spots before kickoff. If you do drive, try reserving parking ahead of time with an app so you don’t stress over it on game day.
