When did TQL Stadium open?

TQL Stadium officially opened in May 2021 after about three years of planning and construction. The stadium project cost around $250 million and was built specifically for Major League Soccer. Before the stadium opened, FC Cincinnati played its home matches at Nippert Stadium. The new venue was designed by the architecture firm Populous, which is known for creating modern sports stadiums around the world. Since opening, the stadium has won international awards for its design and fan experience. It has already hosted major soccer matches, including World Cup qualifying games. In a short time, it has become one of the newest and most modern soccer stadiums in the United States.
