Husky Stadium is the big outdoor football stadium on the University of Washington campus in Seattle, Washington, and it’s where the Washington Huskies football team plays its home games. The stadium sits on the southeast corner of campus near Union Bay and overlooks Lake Washington, giving you a killer view of the water and mountains when you’re inside. It opened way back in 1920 and has been updated several times, most recently in 2013, so it mixes old-school history and newer comforts. With a seating capacity of around 70,000 fans, it’s one of the largest college stadiums in the Pacific Northwest and a must-see on game days. Husky Stadium also hosts other big events like concerts and graduation ceremonies, not just football. You can get to the stadium easily via the University of Washington Link light rail or by bus if you don’t want to deal with driving and parking. It’s known for loud crowds, amazing views, and that classic college football energy.
