Akron Stadium, also known as Estadio Akron, is a modern football stadium located in Zapopan, just outside Guadalajara in Mexico. It officially opened in 2010 and serves as the home of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, also known as Chivas. The stadium sits near the Bosque La Primavera area, giving it a cool natural backdrop. It’s designed to look like a volcano with a cloud on top, which makes it stand out visually. The address is on Circuito JVC, and it’s a bit outside the main city center. Because of that, getting there takes some planning, especially on game days. It’s one of Mexico’s key stadiums and will also host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
