The best times to visit Ephesus are usually during spring and fall when temperatures are more comfortable. These seasons offer pleasant weather for walking around the large outdoor archaeological site. Summer can be extremely hot, especially during the middle of the day, so early morning visits are often recommended. Winter tends to be quieter and less crowded, although occasional rain is possible. Spring brings green landscapes and colorful flowers that add beauty to the surroundings. Fall is popular because of its mild temperatures and smaller crowds compared to peak summer months. Visiting during cooler parts of the year can make the experience much more enjoyable.
