George Bush Intercontinental Airport has five passenger terminals labeled A, B, C, D, and E. Each terminal serves different airlines and types of flights, including both domestic and international routes. An underground train and an above-ground shuttle system help passengers move between terminals. Signs throughout the airport make it fairly easy to find your gate or connecting flight. Some international arrivals go through customs and immigration before continuing to other terminals. The airport is large, so walking between distant gates can take some time. Checking your terminal before arriving can help you start your trip smoothly.
