Team Canada at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics — the roster and the sports

Team Canada at 2022 Olympics in Beijing will compete in 7 sports and include 103 athletes, of them 53 men and 50 women.

The head of mission for the Canadian team this year will be the famous speed skater, double Olympic champion Catriona Ann Le May Doan. These are the events in which the Canadians will compete at these 2022 Olympic Games:

5. Ice hockey (48)

7. Speed skating (16)

In 2022 the Canadians are traditionally strong in ice hockey, figure skating and short track. At the previous Olympics (2018) team Canada won 11 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze medals. In curling and ice hockey Canada will send its teams for both men's and women's competitions.
