Grand County is located on the eastern border of Utah. This well known county is named after The Grand River, since renamed to the Colorado River. The county seat of Grand County is Moab. The county's area is about 3672 square miles. Founded on March 13, 1890, today Grand County is home to 10 thousand residents.
