The Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City is the only capitol in the U.S. that sits atop active oil wells. The building also features a traditional dome that was added in 2002. Inside, it houses government chambers and a wide array of public art. Tours are available, offering a look at both government in action and Oklahoma’s artistic and historical heritage.
