El Paso has a desert climate, meaning it's generally hot and dry. Summers are long and very warm, with temperatures often reaching the upper 90s or higher. Winters are mild and sunny, with very little snowfall. Rain is rare, and most of it falls during the summer monsoon season. The city's sunny weather makes it ideal for outdoor activities nearly year-round.
