El Paso is located in far West Texas, right on the border with Mexico. It sits across the Rio Grande from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and near the state of New Mexico. Its location gives it a unique blend of American and Mexican cultures. It’s part of the greater El Paso–Juárez metro area, one of the largest binational regions in the world.
