Which countries are considered transcontinental between Europe and Asia?

Several countries straddle the Europe-Asia border, making them transcontinental nations. The most notable is Russia, whose vast territory extends across both continents with the Ural Mountains as the dividing line. Turkey is another, with a small part of its land in southeastern Europe (Thrace) and the majority in Asia (Anatolia). Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan also have portions of their land on both continents, divided by the Ural River or the Caucasus Mountains. These countries often have diverse cultures and histories reflecting their unique geographical position at the crossroads of two continents.
