What is the London Eye?

The London Eye is a giant observation wheel situated on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England. It was opened to the public in 2000 and quickly became one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Standing 135 meters (443 feet) tall, it offers panoramic views of London’s skyline and key landmarks. Each rotation takes about 30 minutes, giving visitors ample time to enjoy the sights.
