Has science explained the Loch Ness Monster?

Scientists have conducted numerous studies on Loch Ness, including sonar scans and DNA testing of the water. Most evidence suggests that Nessie sightings may be due to misidentified animals, floating debris, or waves. A large 2019 study of water samples found no traces of unknown creatures, but did detect a high presence of eel DNA. Some researchers suggest Nessie could be a giant eel. Despite the lack of proof, the mystery remains unsolved and continues to inspire curiosity. The legend endures as both a cultural treasure and scientific puzzle.
