Antoni Gaudí, a Catalan architect, is the mastermind behind the Sagrada Familia. He took over the project in 1883 and dedicated the last 15 years of his life exclusively to it. Gaudí’s design features organic shapes inspired by nature, intricate facades, and towering spires. He incorporated religious symbolism throughout the building, making it both a work of art and spiritual inspiration. Gaudí passed away in 1926, leaving the church incomplete. Architects continue his vision using modern techniques while staying faithful to his original plans.
