Cool facts about Manneken Pis

The statue is only 61 centimeters (24 inches) tall but is one of Brussels’ most famous landmarks.
Manneken Pis has a wardrobe of over 1,000 costumes, many of which are displayed in the City Museum.
The statue has been stolen and recovered multiple times throughout history, with the current version being the original or a carefully restored replica.
There is a female counterpart called Jeanneke Pis, installed in 1987, and a dog version called Zinneke Pis.
The statue is often used in local festivals and events, with beer sometimes flowing from its fountain for special occasions.
