When and where does Burning Man take place?

Burning Man is held every year in late August to early September in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada. The festival lasts for approximately one week, leading up to Labor Day weekend. The desert location provides a vast, open space for large-scale art installations and temporary communities. Participants travel from all over the world to attend. Black Rock City is completely built for the event and dismantled after it ends, leaving no trace behind.
