Abu Dhabi has a desert climate with hot summers and mild winters. Summer temperatures often rise above 40°C (104°F), while winter averages are around 20–25°C (68–77°F). Rainfall is scarce and usually occurs in short bursts between December and March. The city enjoys year-round sunshine, making it attractive for outdoor activities and beach tourism. Visitors often prefer traveling in the cooler months from November to March for a more comfortable experience. Air conditioning is widely used in buildings to counter the heat.
