Lincoln Cathedral is known for its Gothic design, including pointed arches, ribbed vaults, flying buttresses, and large stained glass windows. The West Front features intricate stone carvings, statues, and a series of ornate portals. The cathedral’s nave and choir contain high ceilings and detailed stone tracery, demonstrating remarkable medieval craftsmanship. Its central spire was once the tallest in the world, and even without it today, the cathedral maintains a majestic presence. Visitors also admire the Chapter House with its octagonal design and decorative vaulting, a highlight of the cathedral’s interior architecture.
