Can you go inside the pyramids?

Yes, you can actually go inside some of the pyramids at Giza, like the Great Pyramid, for an extra ticket fee. The passages are narrow and can get a little claustrophobic, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There’s not much inside since most treasures were removed long ago, but the feeling of standing inside a 4,500-year-old structure is unreal. Some of the smaller pyramids are less crowded if you want a quieter visit. Just be prepared for steep climbs and hot air inside.
