What’s Armenia known for?

Armenia is famous for being the first country to adopt Christianity back in 301 AD. Because of that, you’ll find some of the oldest churches and monasteries in the world here. It’s also known for Mount Ararat, which is a national symbol, even though it’s technically across the border in Turkey. Armenian food, like khorovats (barbecue) and lavash (flatbread), is also a big highlight. Plus, the country has a super warm and hospitable culture.
