Massive Russian Drone and Missile Barrage Hits Ukraine

Russia launched a massive overnight offensive on Saturday, targeting 14 Ukrainian regions with drones and missile strikes. Ukrainian air defenses responded fiercely, claiming to have intercepted over 500 drones and numerous missiles. Despite the successful defense, one fatality and multiple injuries were reported in the Zaporizhia area amid widespread damage to homes and utilities. The coordinated barrage included attacks on Dnipro and Pavlohrad, spreading fires and chaos across central Ukraine. Ukrainian forces, however, prevented further territorial gains by Russian troops, demonstrating resilience and tactical effectiveness on the front lines.
