Nope, you don’t need a special visa to enter Vatican City. Since it’s inside Rome, if you’re allowed into Italy, you can also visit the Vatican. There’s no border check when you walk in—it’s like stepping across a line in the city. The only restrictions are for certain areas like the Vatican Gardens, which require a guided tour. Otherwise, you’re free to wander the big public spots like St. Peter’s Square.
