Federal Appeals Court Seeks Fast-Track Supreme Court Review of Tariff Ruling

On September 4, the Trump administration requested the Supreme Court to expedite its review after a lower court ruled several presidential tariffs invalid. Meanwhile, futures modestly climbed as investors weighed corporate earnings and upcoming job data. Notably, Salesforce shares fell over 7% in premarket trading after issuing a weaker-than-expected third-quarter outlook, despite beating prior quarter benchmarks. Broadcom also prepared to report earnings amid market concerns about its China exposure. Meanwhile, the Senate Banking Committee readied hearings for Stephen Miran, Trump’s nominee for a Federal Reserve Board seat following Adriana Kugler's resignation.
