Everyone speaks Danish, which can sound tricky, but don’t sweat it—almost all Danes speak good English, especially in cities. Tourist areas are easy to navigate, but throw in a simple “tak” (thanks) and you'll be winning hearts. In some places near the German border or in tourist towns, you might even hear German or Swedish. Don’t expect locals to pull out Spanish or Chinese—you’re safe with English though. Danish is fun to try, but English gets you everywhere.
