Tunisian food is full of bold flavors and a little spicy, thanks to harissa, a hot chili paste that goes with almost everything. Couscous is the national dish, usually served with meat, fish, or veggies. Street food like brik (a fried pastry with egg inside) is super popular. Seafood is also big, especially along the coast. If you love Mediterranean and North African flavors, Tunisian food is a delicious mix of both.
