France, Monaco recognize Palestinian statehood

On September 22, 2025, France recognized Palestinian statehood at UN meeting to revive peace efforts. France formally declared recognition at a high-level UN meeting. Luxembourg, Monaco, and others joined in or confirmed recognition. Andorra, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, and Monaco joined a diplomatic push recognising Palestine doing so at a high-level summit ahead of the UN General Assembly.
