What's the Nobel Peace Prize all about?

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to peace. Established by Alfred Nobel's will in 1895, it's one of the five original Nobel Prizes. Unlike the others, it's awarded in Oslo, Norway, by a five-member committee appointed by the Norwegian Parliament. The prize includes a medal, a diploma, and a cash award, which was 9 million SEK in 2023.
