Jared began by taking over parts of his family’s real estate portfolio while still very young, especially after his father faced legal trouble in the mid-2000s. He led huge Manhattan investments, like buying 666 Fifth Avenue at only 26 years old, which was a massive and risky deal. He also bought a struggling newspaper, the New York Observer, and turned it digital. Kushner has a reputation for taking bold swings even when the market isn’t calm. Some of his decisions were praised, others got heavy criticism, but he never played it safe. His career is basically built around learning by doing.
