Who founded Paramount Pictures?

Paramount Pictures was founded by Adolph Zukor, one of the early pioneers of the movie industry. He believed films should be feature-length, which was pretty bold at the time. Zukor teamed up with Jesse L. Lasky and W. W. Hodkinson to form the full studio operation. Together, they created a distribution and production system that shaped Hollywood’s future. Their approach helped set the model for modern movie studios. The founders were smart about expanding early, which made Paramount grow fast. Their legacy is still visible in how the studio operates today.
