Jewel Cave is currently the third longest cave in the world. More than 220 miles of passages have been mapped so far. The exact length keeps changing as new areas are explored. Most of the cave is not open to the public. Only a small portion can be visited on guided tours. Even with limited access, the scale of the cave is impressive. It’s expected to grow even longer in the future.
