You don’t need to speak Korean to enjoy Jeju Island as a tourist. Many signs, menus, and attractions include English, especially in popular areas. Hotel staff and tour operators are usually comfortable with basic English. In smaller towns, communication might be limited, but people are generally friendly and helpful. Translation apps make getting around much easier. Learning a few simple Korean phrases can be useful and appreciated. Overall, language is rarely a serious problem for visitors.
