People have tons of choices for watching rocket launches around Cape Canaveral, depending on how close you want to get and what kind of view you want. Jetty Park in Port Canaveral is super popular because it’s right across the water from the launch pads and has picnic areas, a pier, and beach access. Playalinda Beach inside the Canaveral National Seashore is another top spot — it’s more natural and you get a clear open view of the sky as the rocket goes up. Space View Park in nearby Titusville also lets you see launches from a relaxed park setting with plenty of grass and seating. If you’re at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on a launch day, they sometimes offer special viewing areas with commentary and bleachers. Wherever you go, arrive early on launch days because crowds and traffic can build fast. Watching a launch from the beach or parks adds a totally different vibe than seeing it from inside the visitor complex.
