Don’t miss the Old Town nearby, where narrow cobblestone streets lead to historic buildings, cafes, and landmarks like St. Pierre Cathedral. Museums like the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum offer strong insight into global humanitarian history. If you’re into plants and green spaces, the Conservatory and Botanical Garden of Geneva is huge and super peaceful. Another fun way to explore is by taking a ride on the small lake boats (mouettes) that cross the water for a unique local experience. Boat rides, markets, parks, and lakeside walks are perfect for your first day.
