What is Devil’s Throat at Iguazu Falls?

Devil’s Throat, or Garganta del Diablo, is the most famous part of Iguazu Falls. It’s a massive U-shaped waterfall where a huge amount of water crashes down at once. The drop is about 80 meters, which makes it the tallest section of the falls. Visitors can walk out on a platform that gets very close to the edge. The mist is intense, and rainbows often appear on sunny days. The sound and power of the water are unforgettable. Many people consider this the highlight of the entire park.
