The United Center has a clear security policy that helps keep entry safe and smooth for all guests. Bags need to be small purses or personal bags only, usually no bigger than about 10″ x 6″ x 2″, and backpacks aren’t allowed unless it’s for medical gear. Everyone goes through security checks including metal detectors before they can walk into the main arena. Outside food and drinks of any kind are not permitted, so plan on grabbing snacks once you’re inside.
