What is UBS Arena in New York?

UBS Arena is a modern indoor sports and entertainment stadium located at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, New York, just outside NYC in the Belmont Park area. It opened in 2021 and was built to be the long‑term home of the NHL’s New York Islanders and host big concerts, comedy shows, and special events too. The arena was designed with fans and artists in mind, with great sightlines, premium hospitality areas, and the largest scoreboard in New York State. Inside, you’ll find eight bars with views of the ice/stage and two outdoor terraces that are popular hangout spots during games and concerts. It’s part of a bigger entertainment campus that includes The Park at UBS Arena, where fans hang out before shows. Thanks to its location near major transit options and NYC, the arena draws fans from across the metro area. Whether it’s an Islanders game or a big tour stop, UBS Arena is one of the top places to catch major events near New York.
