Tropicana Field doesn’t often offer formal guided stadium tours like some parks do, but it does host lots of non‑game events and concerts throughout the year. In the past it has been a venue for NCAA basketball Final Four games, football games, WWE shows, and big concerts featuring major acts, though schedules vary by season. Because the Rays sometimes play other venues due to repairs or scheduling, checking the official event calendar before visiting helps you plan for anything fun happening around your date. Inside the park there are also unique spots like the cigar bar behind center field or the full‑service BallPark & Rec restaurant that turn a baseball trip into a special experience. For kids and families, interactive areas like the Rays tank or other ballpark attractions make visiting even when you don’t have game tickets worthwhile. If you’re coming for something other than baseball, seeing what’s going on in and around the stadium can add extra fun to your trip.
