Tropicana Field is an indoor baseball stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida, at 1 Tropicana Drive right along the bay and close to downtown. It’s the home ballpark of the , hosting all their regular season home games. The domed park gives fans a weather‑proof place to enjoy MLB action, especially when Florida heat or rain rolls in. Because it’s in downtown St. Pete, you can walk to nearby restaurants and bars before or after the game, which makes it a fun day out. The stadium opened back in 1990 and has been home to the Rays ever since, seeing lots of big baseball moments over the decades. For the 2026 season the Rays plan to return to Tropicana Field after a year playing in Tampa while repairs and upgrades were made to the roof and interior. Whether you’re a baseball fan or visiting the area, Tropicana Field is a big part of the local sports scene.
