Progressive Field currently seats around 35,000 fans, though the exact number can change slightly after renovations. When it first opened, the capacity was over 40,000. Recent redesigns focused more on fan experience rather than just packing in more seats. Some upper deck sections were reduced to create open social areas and better views. The smaller capacity makes the park feel more intimate compared to some larger MLB stadiums. Even with fewer seats, big games can still feel loud and electric. It’s designed so most seats offer a solid view of the field.
