Kauffman Stadium is generally considered more pitcher-friendly than hitter-friendly. The outfield is deep, especially in the gaps, which can limit home runs. However, the large space allows for more doubles and triples. Speedy outfielders can really shine in this ballpark. Weather can also play a role, especially during hot Midwest summers. While big home run games do happen, it’s not known as a launching pad. Overall, it offers a pretty balanced style of play with a slight edge to pitchers.
