Sahlen Field is a baseball stadium in downtown Buffalo, New York, located at 1 James D. Griffin Plaza near the heart of the city. It’s the home of the Triple‑A Buffalo Bisons, who play in Minor League Baseball’s International League each season. The park has been hosting the Bisons since it opened in 1988, making it one of the longest‑running minor league homes in the country. It’s right by restaurants, bars, and entertainment in Buffalo, so fans can make a whole day of their visit. In 2020 and 2021, Major League Baseball also brought the Toronto Blue Jays to play regular season games at Sahlen Field due to travel rules. The stadium’s downtown location makes it easy to reach by public transit or on foot if you’re staying nearby. You’ll see locals and visitors alike enjoying Bisons games here from spring through early fall.
