Allianz Arena is well connected to Munich’s transport network, and most visitors use public transit to get there on matchdays. The easiest way is to take the U-Bahn (U6 line) to the Fröttmaning station, which is just a short walk from the stadium, and helps you avoid traffic and parking queues. There are also plenty of buses that serve the area on game days, making travel from Munich centre convenient. If you do drive, there are large multi-storey car parks around the stadium with nearly 9,800 public parking spaces, plus extra spots for coaches or VIP guests. Parking fees are usually cheaper when booked in advance online, and licence-plate recognition makes entry and exit smoother. Many fans still prefer trains or ride-shares on big match days because traffic can get heavy. Walking from nearby hotels or transit stops also keeps your visit stress-free.
